Can I Do This If I Get An Iphone?

OK, as of right now my family has AT&T as the family carrier….we are up for 2 updates and I want to get an Iphone, now currently we have the family unlimited texting plan…if I were to get an Iphone would I be able to keep that, instead of paying for the extra iphone texting plan…and just pay $30 extra for the unlimited data plan????

    all u get is the 30 dollar unlmited data iphone plan, i never noticed of any “iphone only text” plan.. ur messaging plan u already hav is sufficient enough……

    no, unlimited texting is seperate but be aware, the iphone automatically adds 30$ to your monthly bill for data usage
